New information has emerged in the honey trap case involving a senior official of BHEL in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The mystery girl being discussed in this case was previously said to be Russian. But the SIT investigation has now revealed that the girl is not a Russian but a citizen of Uzbekistan. It is alleged that a mystery girl had reached the hotel to meet a senior official of BHEL. He then made an obscene video of the officer. Since then he was being blackmailed. The whole game belonged to the officer’s friend Shashank Verma, who is in police custody.

According to information, this mystery girl was brought to Bhopal through a female broker pretending to be Russian. This woman pimp used to place girls from other states in her flat. Currently, the search for the suspected woman is on. Investigation has also revealed that he has a gang. This gang provides girls for 5 to 25 thousand rupees to customers. The SIT investigation revealed that the mysterious girl was not Russian but from Uzbekistan. Now the record of that girl has been demanded from the passport office.

When the BHEL officer’s friend and accused Shashank Verma’s mobile phone was searched, the police found the numbers of an agent and a client. Shashank was also found to be involved in the sex racket. The accused also used to take scrap contracts in Bhel. Due to which he was introduced to a senior officer. Shashank called the officer to the hotel. A girl from Uzbekistan was also invited there. Said to the officer – This is a Russian girl. After this, blackmailing was started by capturing the intimate moments of the officer and the girl as part of the planning.

25 lakhs was demanded

It is alleged that accused Shashank was demanding Rs 25 lakh from the officer. The officer expressed his inability to pay such amount. But the accused did not believe. After this, Rs 2.5 lakh was recovered from the victim officer in separate installments. When the officer was being repeatedly blackmailed, he became upset and registered a case at the police station. The victim officer says that someone was calling him on his phone impersonating a crime branch officer and threatening him with arrest. Finally he got upset and complained to the police.

Based on the complaint, the Govindpura police registered a case against two men and two women under Sections 308/06, 142, 351/4, 3/5 of the BNS. Then the main accused Shashank Verma was arrested. The accused is revealing many secrets during interrogation.
