Terror of thieves in Gorakhpur
The courage of thieves has increased in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. There is no sign of stopping the thefts in the Rajghat Police Station area. Here, thieves run away with money and mobile phones of people sleeping from inside the houses to the footpath. A few days ago, a CCTV video of thieves stealing mobile phones and money from inside went viral.
Once again a video is going viral on social media in which a thief is seen picking the pockets of people sleeping on the road. The accused thief was caught on video stealing money and running away. All these cases are from Rehmat Nagar Chowki in Rajghat Police Station area, where a thief is seen fleeing with money from the pocket of a person sleeping on a cart.
The incident was caught on CCTV camera
A thief stole money from the pocket of a man who was sleeping in front of a shop in Sahabganj Police Station Mandi of Rahmatnagar Outpost in Rajghat Police Station area of Gorakhpur. The incident took place between 4.30 am to 4.45 am on September 15. The whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. A few days ago, a CCTV was going viral on social media in which thieves entered a house and stole a person’s mobile phone and money and fled. Another incident happened on the same day where a person broke into the house and ran away with the items kept in the house. There is an atmosphere of fear among the people when there are large-scale theft incidents.
Thieves entered the house and stole money
The incident of theft from inside the house took place in Turkmanpur, behind Rawat School under Rajghat Police Station. The incident took place on September 10 at 9:24 pm when a thief broke into the house and took away two mobile phones, Rs 10,000 in cash and several other items. The whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in his house. Currently, the victim has lodged a complaint with the police. The police have assured to catch the thieves soon and take appropriate action. Thieves broke into houses in different areas of Rajghat Police Station area and took cash and valuables including expensive mobiles and electronic goods. Police are looking for these thieves.
