Thieves broke into a house in Barkasi village of Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh and escaped with cash and jewelery worth lakhs of rupees. When the woman, who was sleeping in the house at the time of the incident, woke up, the thieves first beat her and then tied her hands and feet with a rope and stuffed a cloth in her mouth. After the incident, the thieves left them in the same condition and ran away. In the morning, when the children saw their mother’s condition, they freed her and informed the police.

After this, the police admitted the woman to the hospital. Police are trying to identify the thieves based on the evidence found at the scene. Police suspect that the thief may be an informant of the victim’s family. In the statement given by the hospitalized victim, she said that her husband had gone out of the village for work. In such a situation, she used to sleep at home with the children. Meanwhile, three thieves entered his house. Meanwhile, he was woken up by the sound of thunder.

When he protested against the thieves, they became attackers. The thieves beat him, tied him with a rope and stuffed a cloth in his mouth. After this, the thieves collected all the valuables of the house in front of them and left them in the same condition and fled. When morning came, the children freed them. After this the police was informed. Seeing the condition of the victim, the police reached there on receiving the information and immediately admitted him to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Auraiya SP Charu Nigam, who reached the spot, said that efforts are being made to identify and arrest the thieves with the help of surveillance. For this they have formed different teams of police. The victim said that she had recently sold her goat. His 21 thousand rupees were kept in the closet. Apart from this, he also had jewelry worth lakhs of rupees kept in the cupboard.

Doctors declared his condition out of danger

Thieves have taken all these materials. Apart from this, the thief has also taken many other things. According to SP Charu Nigam, no written complaint has been received from the victim’s family yet. They have been asked to file a written complaint about the incident. As the victim is currently hospitalized, we are awaiting her discharge for further enquiries. Now the doctors have declared his condition out of danger.
