Muslim and Hindu brothers of the area paid homage to him. The elderly were residents of Taraon village in Prayagraj.
92-year-old Hindu Ram Avatar alias Baijnath passed away on Sunday. The body of Rama avatar was bathed and placed on the throne. The clerics then recited the Fatiha, after which he was buried. As soon as this news spread in the area, the police reached the spot to find out the truth. Koraon Police Inspector Nitendra Shukla reached the spot with his team.
Baijanath’s family members said that his last rites have been performed as per Baijanath’s wishes. If Baijanath’s sons Shiv Prasad and Mohanlal are to be believed, they accepted Islam years ago. He used to pray five times a day. So as per his wishes he has been cremated as per Muslim custom.

According to Ram Avatar alias Baijanath alias Jeth’s family members, Jeth lived among Muslim people since his childhood. Talking about Allah often. His last wish was to be buried in his own land in front of the house instead of being cremated and floated in the water. According to his wishes he was cremated and a grave was made in front of his house and he was buried.

All other members of the family except the elders are Hindus. That is why Jeth’s son Mohan Lal has taken lota (funeral rites in Hinduism). Mohan said that now there will be another last rites as per Hindu tradition. The father wanted him to be buried, so he was buried in the grave as per his wish.
