A video of an employee making roti on a spit in a dhaba in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar is going viral. As soon as this video went viral on social media, people demanded action from the police. After this, a police team immediately reached the dhaba and arrested the accused.
The video which is going viral is of a dhaba located in Bihari Lal Chowk, Dankaur. In the video, it is seen that a person is making tandoor roti. He is often seen spitting while roasting roti in the tandoor. Three people are seen standing around the tandoor. At the same time, some customers are also seen standing inside the booth. The viral video is 32 seconds long.
Worked at a dhaba for eight years
The police said that the name of the accused is not known. He works as a cook in a dhaba. He is a resident of Jarcha. Locals said that Alam has been working here for eight years. He has got a job making tandoori rotis at a dhaba. Local people are angry with this incident. He has demanded the police to take strict action against the accused. A police official said that the accused has been interrogated.
Recently, a similar case came to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur. Here also there was an incident of spit roasting in a hotel, on which Hindu organizations expressed displeasure. After which the police arrested the accused. The accused who made the roti was a minor, so the police sent him to a children’s home. Before this incident, there was a case of roti roasting on a spit at a wedding ceremony in Ghaziabad. A video of face massage by spitting in Bagpat came to light.
