The body of a youth was found hanging in a room under suspicious circumstances in Vamanpuri village under Dhanari police station area of ​​Sambhal, police said. When the police pulled the body out of the drain, they found a hand writing saying ‘My wife is responsible for my death.’ Wife has not given food for two days. The family members also alleged that the wife was having an affair with another young man.

The deceased youth’s name is Hemant. His age is said to be 23 years. He got married two and a half years ago to Chandrakali, a resident of Thanpur village in Badaun district. Hemant lived with his wife in a separate house from the family. At ten o’clock on Tuesday night, Chandrakali was walking alone near the fields. The family members shouted at Chandrakali, but she did not stop.
Fearing some untoward incident, the family members rushed home and found that the main door of Hemant’s house was locked from the front. When the family members opened the door and entered, Hemant was swinging on the rope in the room. Hearing the cries of the family members, the surrounding people had gathered. The police were informed. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body. The police sent the body for postmortem. Hemant’s father Bhure has filed a complaint against the daughter-in-law and her maternal uncle’s family accusing them of murder.
