UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam… Date to be announced soon, Chief Secretary asked for list of 27 centres

Preparations for the police constable recruitment exam will be held soon in Uttar Pradesh, preparations for this have been intensified. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has called for a list of examination centers from all district magistrates. He has given strict instructions regarding selection of examination centers and other arrangements. The recruitment exam for 60 thousand 244 constable civil police posts is going to be held in the state.

In February this year, the exam was canceled after the UP Police constable recruitment exam paper was leaked. Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed to hold the exam again in 6 months. The Chief Secretary has issued instructions regarding the examination centres. UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam date may be announced soon.

The examination centers will be in 2 categories

Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has instructed a committee chaired by DM to provide a shortlist of examination centers to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board by June 27. This time he has instructed to select examination centers in two categories. Government Secondary Schools, Government Degree Colleges, Central Universities, Polytechnics, Government Engineering Colleges and Government Medical Colleges are included in category A. At the same time, prestigious and well-funded educational institutions are included in category B.

Provision of a separate room in the vault for question papers

Instructing divisional commissioners, district magistrates and senior police officers through video conferencing, the chief secretary said that whatever examination centers are set up, they should not be blacklisted and should not be suspicious or controversial. Also the examination center should be in an urban area. If necessary, a center should be selected on a main road within 10 km diameter of the urban area. A separate room should be arranged in the vault for question papers. He also said that the committee formed under the chairmanship of DM will be solely responsible for the selection of examination centres.
