An important BJP meeting will be held in Lucknow after the Lok Sabha elections

After reeling from a crushing defeat in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now trying to bounce back. BJP National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh has camped in Lucknow for 3 days to find out the reason for the defeat, while CM Yogi Adityanath is talking to public representatives and taking reports from everyone at the assembly level. A meeting of BJP’s state working committee is now being held in Lucknow on July 14, where a blueprint will be prepared to re-engage the party’s lost support.

This meeting of the BJP will be important in many ways after its poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, it is believed that a roadmap will be prepared for the future of BJP in UP? Party national president JP Nadda will also participate in the BJP’s state working committee meeting to be held after the election defeat. Usually around 300 leaders attend the State Working Committee meeting, but this time their number will be more than 3 thousand.

A State Working Committee meeting has been held at the Ambedkar Auditorium of Ram Manohar Lohia Law University, Lucknow. This time, apart from all the members of the working committee, all the state MLAs, UP quota ministers, Union ministers and Lok Sabha election candidates have also been called. Apart from this, Nagar Panchayat President, Municipal President, District Panchayat Presidents and Block Chiefs of UP have also been invited to the meeting.

JP Nadda will also attend this meeting

BJP President JP Nadda will address the inaugural session of the State Working Committee meeting. In the meeting, the people of the state will be thanked for handing over the power of the country to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third time. The meeting will also see a glimpse of taking the issue of cultural nationalism forward. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak will also attend this meeting. Apart from this, the state president Bhupendrasinh Chaudhary will address the first session of the meeting.

Uttar Pradesh BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh will give information about the upcoming action plan and campaign of the party. The BJP’s organization minister’s address at the State Working Committee meeting is considered to be the most important, in which he will lay out the roadmap for how the BJP will move forward again in UP. The strategy of preparations for the by-elections to be held in the 10 assembly seats of the state will also be decided. Not only this, the BJP may also have a blueprint for the 2027 assembly elections.

Attempt to regroup scattered votes

This important meeting is being held after the poor results of the Lok Sabha elections, in which important decisions regarding the future may be taken. In this meeting, the foundation stone of the upcoming changes in the BJP will be laid. With a commitment to the development of Uttar Pradesh, efforts will be made to reweave the torn social fabric. Its roadmap may be laid out in the working committee meeting, as loss of Dalit and OBC votes was a major reason behind BJP’s defeat. In such a situation, a strategy can also be devised to bring together the votes of the OBC and Dalit communities.

In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has reduced from 62 seats to 33. The biggest blow to BJP is in Purvanchal region. The target will be set to win as many seats as possible in the Assembly by-elections, invigorating the leaders and activists who were disappointed by the 2024 defeat. A strategy to maintain good rapport between the party organization and the government in UP will also be worked on. Along with the agenda of making Uttar Pradesh a better state, a resolution will also be brought to expose the misinformation of the opposition.

UP cabinet reshuffle likely

It is believed that there may be major changes in the working committee of BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from several posts, fronts, divisions, cells and districts and areas can also undergo major changes. Along with this, there is talk of a major change in the Yogi cabinet, as two ministers of the Yogi government have won and become MPs of the Lok Sabha.

Jitin Prasad has resigned from the Yogi government of UP and has become a minister in the Modi government. While Anup Valmiki, who was a minister in the UP government, has been elected as MP from Hathras. In such a situation, the possibility of expansion of the Yogi cabinet will be discussed, in which some more leaders may also be given important adjustments. Its wide impact will be seen on BJP in future.
