Police took action in Ghazipur
These days many cases of tampering with railway security are coming to light where sometimes someone places something on the tracks or someone is seen doing stunts somewhere. Meanwhile, the police have also taken action against two youths in Gazipur of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that these people used to make different types of videos while performing stunts on railway tracks. Police have recovered several videos from the accused’s Reel account. In this video, the accused were sometimes placing wooden planks on the railway tracks and sometimes running between the tracks in front of the train.
The accused also tried to swing by holding the girders of the Dhimiya railway overbridge, the video of which was captured by the police, after which the two youths performed various stunts on the railway and made the track expensive.
Chandan, another associate of Rahul who was trying his luck on social media, was also arrested by the RPF late on Sunday evening. The accused youth was balancing on a wooden plank on the railway track near Ankushpur station along with his friend Rahul. Not only this, the two men ran between the tracks in front of the train and these men were swinging by holding onto the girders of the railway overbridge.
Used to perform stunts on railway tracks
The youths were trying to perform a stunt by lifting the slab installed to cover the railway signal wire and placing it on the track. Rahul, the friend of the accused youth, was arrested by the police on Saturday itself. At present, incidents of train derailment by placing something on the railway lines are not decreasing and such youths are becoming a headache for the Railway Protection Force. There have been two consecutive incidents of derailment of trains in Gazipur, one due to the laying of ballast on the railway track and the other due to the laying of a piece of wood during the arrival of a freedom fighter. The train’s engine house pipe was cut.
Police are active after the accident
After this incident, the railway police has come into active mode and has also started investigating the social media posts of the last 4 to 5 months which were used to make reels on railway tracks and upload them on social media and some videos have come to light in these cases. In which the video of a youth from Akushpur and Gazipur doing stunts was captured by the railway police, after which the railway police took action and arrested a youth named Rahul on Saturday and Chandan on Sunday.
