In Ghazipur district, on the night of August 19-20, the dead bodies of two RPF jawans were found near a track near Bakania village in Gahmar police station area. Gadmar police have registered a case against unknown persons and started investigation. Along with the Gamkhwar police, four to five more teams were involved in the investigation. However, UP STF has got great success in this matter. The police arrested four liquor smugglers, one of whom was shot in the leg by the police while fleeing.
Regarding the death of the RPF jawan, the involvement of liquor smugglers was already suspected, as chain pulling was done by liquor smugglers at about 2 to 3 places near the incident site and Deendayal Upadhyay railway station, when the train was supposed to be stopped. STF reached the spot along with the liquor smugglers
On Tuesday morning, the UP STF arrested four accused from Patna in Bihar and brought them to the spot. Meanwhile, other items were also being searched when one of the accused Premchand snatched the official pistol of Sub Inspector Suresh Maurya and started running towards the bushes.

He used to smuggle liquor through the train
Smugglers said that on August 19, Mughalsarai went to Chandauli to smuggle liquor from Alinagar to Bihar, from where he bought liquor from a person named Surendra and brought it to the railway station, after which the general boarded the coach. Shortly after the start of the train, chain pulling took place before Kuchman station. Meanwhile, Constable Javed and Pramod also came to the spot. Constables Javed and Pramod beat us up for opposing chain pulling and liquor smuggling.

After this, the two constables were pushed out of the moving train by the liquor smugglers, resulting in the death of the two RPF men. During interrogation, these people also told that we used to buy liquor from Viland Choudhary, who worked as a trackman in the railways, and sold it in Danapur, Patna. Viland Chaudhary is also involved in this incident. Viland was also arrested by the UP STF on the basis of interrogation.
Gateman used to run a liquor-trafficking gang
During interrogation, the accused Pankaj said that he had done his diploma in polytechnic from Bengaluru and after coming to the village he came in contact with Viland Chaudhary, who is a gateman in railways and runs a liquor smuggling gang. He started the liquor racket along with Viland Chaudhary. He came in contact with Premchand and Vinay through Viland Chaudhary. These people kept liquor for smuggling in unescorted trains.
Accused Premchand has gone to jail in the murder case
The accused used to buy liquor from around Mughalsarai and sell it at high prices to different parts of Bihar through railways. Accused Premchand, who is 8th pass and ITI pass in Electrical from Danapur. He was in contact with liquor traffickers for four years. He has also gone to jail for a murder case. Accused Vinay Kumar during interrogation said that he used to sell children’s clothes in Jaipur.
Used to smuggle liquor in Bihar
Vinay Kumar came in contact with some liquor smugglers of Phulwari Sharif and got involved in liquor smuggling with them. For the last long time he was continuously working in the liquor trade. Trackman Viland Chaudhary, who was arrested in this case, was recruited in the railway department in 2014. At the same time, he was stationed at Dunkaur railway station from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, it was shifted to Narayanpur railway station. After this he started buying liquor from Mughalsarai and selling it in Bihar. He came in contact with many liquor smugglers from Bihar and started smuggling liquor together with them.
