A student upset with the landlord committed suicide
An 18-year-old student who came to study in a polytechnic has committed suicide by hanging himself. The deceased was pursuing a diploma in chemical engineering from the polytechnic. According to the suicide note found in the room, he was disturbed due to a dispute with the landlord. Before his death, the student posted a status in which he wrote that he could no longer bear the landlord’s tension and was unable to study because of it.
After a dispute with the landlord, Kuldeep, an engineering student, committed suicide in a rented house. This case is from Baraiya village in Zaidpur police station area of ​​Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Where the deceased student was studying by renting a room at the house of a person named Lakshmi Narayan. The student was a resident of Gopalpur village in Sitapur. The deceased was a first year student of Diploma Course in Chemical Engineering at Government Polytechnic Jugunia Dih. His body was found hanging from a fan on Friday morning.
There was a quarrel about running the fan
As soon as the family members came to know about the incident, they reached the Zaidpur police station crying. The family has accused the house owner of instigating and harassing her to commit suicide. The family alleges that Kuldeep had posted a status before his death, in which he had seriously accused the landlord of harassment. In his status, he wrote that he could not bear the tension of the landlord. Due to which I am not even able to study. According to the family, the landlord Lakshmi Narayan did not allow the room fan to run. Apart from this, he was also harassing Kuldeep in other ways. Information about the incident is being received that the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep’s fellow students alleged that the student was living outside by renting a room due to non-availability of rooms in the polytechnic hostel. Where building owners harass students in various ways. On the allegations of the students, the principal says that the institution is new and shifted to another place in 2021 itself. The work of two hostels in the college is incomplete. Due to which students have to stay in outside rooms. The principal said that the government and the administration are constantly demanding budget. So that the hostel can be built at the earliest. Police officer Amit Pratap Singh says that the entire matter is being investigated.
