An elderly woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi is threatened by her own sons. He said that I am in danger of my life from my son and daughter-in-law. Tears have dried from the eyes of the old woman, she says the police are unwilling to listen to her complaint. He has filed a case against his sons and their wives citing a threat to his life. The police have registered a crime on the orders of the court. The woman has stated in the complaint that her sons and their wives are harassing her to get the property transferred in their name. The aggrieved woman has appealed to CM Yogi for justice.
Asha Singh, wife of former BSP MP from Sultanpur late Jaibhadra Singh, has filed a case against seven people including her two sons and two daughters-in-law at the Sarnath police station. The old woman alleged that the police did not take any action in the case, after which she had to go to court and a case was registered after the court’s order. A total of seven people have been booked under various sections including sedition, extortion, assault and intimidation.
The victim is the wife of a former MP
Living in Ashok Vihar Colony Phase-2, Asha Singh’s husband Jaibhadra Singh was a former MP from Sultanpur. Jaibhadra Singh may have built his political base in Sultanpur but he has invested in large properties in Banaras. Asha alleges that after the death of her husband Jaibhadra, sons Ravibhadra and Manibhadra, daughters-in-law Suman Singh and Supriya Singh are harassing her to get the property transferred in her name. Ravibhadra Singh, Manibhadra Singh and daughter-in-law Suman Singh and Supriya Singh, residents of Ashok Vihar Colony Phase-II, Varanasi, have been accused.

The police filed a case on the order of the court

Appealed to CM Yogi to save his life
A hearing was held on the court order but Asha Singh says that the conspiracy to kill him is still being hatched. She doesn’t trust the Sarnath police, so she is pleading with the CM to save her life. Asha Singh has confined herself to her house due to fear and has also installed CCTV cameras in her room.
