A major accident has occurred in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. A building collapsed here in the new colony of Govind Nagar. The family sleeping in the house was buried under the rubble. One girl died and four people were injured in this accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
The incident took place between Sunday and Monday at 2 am. Locals said that there was a sudden loud noise when they reached there it was dark and there was dust all around. A building was found to have collapsed. Some people’s hoarse voices were coming from the rubble.
Local people removed the debris
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police immediately reached the spot. Crowds of local people had gathered. Local people started clearing the debris themselves. Five injured people were pulled out of the rubble. One child died before being taken to hospital. At the same time, 4 are still hospitalized. The name of the house owner is said to be Zafar.

There was a crowd of local people at the place from 2 pm till morning. The administration team was also present at the spot. People have demanded that compensation should be given to the victim’s family regarding this accident. After the accident, peace prevailed in the entire area. Relatives of the victim’s family have also reached the hospital. Police said the accident is under investigation. Information about the incident will also be taken from the injured after their health improves.

Local people said that the house was years old. It had become dilapidated. The walls of the house were made of bricks, which were bound with mud. It is suspected that the house was weakened due to rain.
