A Dalit girl has accused the mufti of a mosque in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district of raping her for fear of jinnat. He says that his health is not good. Due to which the family members took the girl to Mufti’s house and handed her over. The Mufti scared Jinnat’s family members and performed tantra-mantra with the girl. After this, the accused Mufti committed the incident of rape with the girl child.
A Dalit girl in Hardoi district has made serious allegations of rape against the mufti of a mosque, Imran. A 22-year-old Dalit girl said that she had been ill for a long time. Mufti Imran, a resident of Krishna Nagar in Beniganj city, was taken by his family members for exorcism in November 2023. After going there, his health started to improve a little.
Raped by showing fear of jinnat
As the girl’s health deteriorated, she was taken to Mufti for exorcism. The victim girl said that Mufti used to do dirty tricks on her by showing fear of Jinnah. At the same time, the Mufti was threatening the girl and saying that if she opened her mouth anywhere, he would not allow her to marry anywhere by Jinnah. Disturbed by the rape being done by Mufti, the girl informed her family about the incident.

Hearing about the rape, the ground slipped from under the feet of the family members. The family immediately lodged a complaint about the incident at the Beniganj police station. After which the police took action and arrested the accused Mufti. Hardoi Additional Superintendent of Police Martand Singh said that the accused Mufti has been arrested based on the complaint. After taking him into custody, the police have registered a crime and taken legal action.
