The wedding procession of the bridegroom emerges from the flood waters

Monsoon has arrived across the country and the weather has turned pleasant due to rains in many places. Meanwhile, there are some places where floods have occurred. In such a situation, the people of the flood affected area have to do all their work in this water. The latest case has come to light from UP’s Hardoi, where a procession took out from the flood-hit area. But the special thing about this procession was that the groom came not on a horse but on a boat and he did not wear any suit or boots but crossed the road in shorts holding his shoes in his hands.

A wedding procession left for Kalagda in Shahabad from Kaharkola village in flood-affected Pali area in Hardoi. The special thing was that the groom and the rest of the wedding party from home reached the contact road by boat and then walked two kilometers underwater to reach the main road.

The village turned into an island

Kaharkola village in Pali area has turned into an island due to flood in Gara river. Rahul, a young man from Kaharkola village, was married. The procession started from Kaharkola. The groom and the rest of the wedding procession took a boat to reach the main road from the village. The boat dropped everyone near the approach road which was submerged a kilometer earlier, after which the bridegroom and the rest of the wedding procession had to walk under water to reach the main road.

Only one way to reach the village

Groom Rahul, who left for Shahabad’s Kalagada village with the wedding procession, said that when he bids farewell to his wife and brings her to the village after the wedding, he will take her inside the village in a boat, as there is no other way to reach the village. According to Rahul, if the water level rises, he will stay somewhere else for a day or two instead of going to the village, but this is unlikely. He said that he would try his best to reach his house directly with the bride.
