An 11-year-old girl was badly injured in the attack. The girl was immediately admitted to the community health center in Mahasi, where her condition is critical. On the other hand, panic has increased in the area after this incident. On Tuesday, the teams of the forest department had tamed a wolf.
So far 5 wolves have been tamed here. While the sixth wolf still roams freely. According to local people, a girl was sleeping in the porch of her house on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the wolf came quietly and tried to turn him into a chisel. Hearing the girl’s screams, her family got up and chased the wolf with a stick, but he could not catch her. After this, the girl was immediately taken to Mahasi Community Hospital. Where the doctors have admitted the girl after seeing the injury marks on her body.

Dr. in charge of the hospital. Ashish Verma said that the girl’s condition is out of danger, but she is being kept under close observation considering her condition. According to the officials of the forest department, there were reports of 6 wolves in the district. Forest department teams are making continuous efforts to catch all these wolves. In the same sequence, on Tuesday morning, a forest department team tamed a wolf from Sisaiya Chunamani village of Mahasi tehsil. So far five wolves have been tamed. Now the teams have started laying traps to catch the sixth wolf.

According to Bahraich Divisional Forest Officer Ajit Pratap Singh, the sixth wolf has not been tamed yet, but is being closely monitored. The wolf has been tracked several times but has escaped into the dense forest. He said that even the ferocious wolves have changed their method of attack after seeing the forest department’s proactivity. Now he has become more cautious than before. The situation has reached such a stage that they are fleeing at the sound of drones. Due to which the drones are not visible from the camera. So far eight people have died in these wolf attacks. While more than 20 people have been injured.
