Police thwarted an attempt to hijack a bus in Jalaun.

Four people tried to hijack a bus going to Ahmedabad in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. He beat up the driver and the conductor. The bus was also taken into its possession. Then they started driving it faster. But in the meantime the passengers started screaming. Hearing the screams of the passengers, the passing policemen stopped the bus cautiously. Four miscreants who hijacked the bus were taken into custody. In this way, the lives of 36 passengers including the driver-conductor were saved.

The incident took place in Orai Police Station area of ​​Jalaun. Here the sleeper bus of Maa Vaishno Travels was going from Kanpur to Ahmedabad carrying passengers. At 12 pm on Friday, the bus reached Kalpi bus stand in Orai, Jalaun. Here, four people sitting in the bus started an argument with the driver and conductor over boarding and alighting of passengers. Due to which those four people started assaulting the driver and conductor.

Not only this, these four people also beat some passengers sitting in the bus. Also, the driver was beaten and removed from the steering wheel of the bus. A miscreant himself sat there and started speeding the bus. All four tried to hijack the bus. Then the passengers sitting in the bus started making noise. Meanwhile, the Orai Kotwali police who were on dharna at night stopped the bus by parking their car in front of them as soon as they heard the noise of the passengers sitting in the bus. All the people traveling in the hijacked bus immediately stopped the bus at the district hospital on seeing the police and hid inside the bus.

The passengers raised their voices

As soon as the bus pulled up, the passengers opened the gate and started alighting. The policemen asked the passengers the reason for the noise. On which the passengers accused the four people of attacking and hijacking the bus. After that, the police caught the four people who were hiding in the bus and brought them to the police station and started questioning all of them.

The accused disclosed

Orai police station in-charge inspector Ajay Brahma Tiwari said that the accused have explained themselves. He stated that he had consumed alcohol. In this sequence, when there was an altercation with the bus driver and conductor, they did all this to intimidate them. They did not hijack the bus. Currently, investigation is going on against the four accused.
