Water Minister Atishi and AAP MP Sanjay Singh
The water crisis is getting worse in Delhi, while Atishi, the Water Minister of the Delhi government, has gone on an indefinite fast today. Before undertaking the water satyagraha, Atishi visited the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and paid his respects. Meanwhile, AAP MP Sanjay Singh and Sunita Kejriwal were also seen with him. Atishi said that decades ago Bapu took the path of satyagraha for the rights of common people. Today, following the path shown by Bapu, I am also fasting. With this he announced that the satyagraha will continue till the people of Delhi get their rightful water from Haryana.
Before going on an indefinite fast for water, Atishi along with Aam Aadmi Party leaders reached Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence and met his family. He said that there is still water shortage in Delhi. Even today 28 lakh Delhiites are not getting water. He alleged that despite all efforts, the Haryana government is not providing full water to Delhi.
Sunita Kejriwal attack on ED
Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal has made serious allegations against ED on this occasion. He said Kejriwal ji’s bail order was also not uploaded when the ED approached the High Court to impose a stay. ED is treating Arvind Kejriwal like a most wanted terrorist. This attitude of ED is very shocking.
