Death of the white tigress Riddhi
The white tigress Riddhi died in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Riddhi lived for a total of 15 years. He was brought from Indore to Van Vihar, Bhopal at the age of 4. Tigress Riddhi was brought here on 28 December 2013. Riddhi stopped eating and drinking for two days before his death. According to doctors, Riddhi was old, so some parts of her body stopped working.
At present, the real cause of Riddhi’s death will be known only after the forensic report. Riddhi’s last rites were performed at Van Vihar National Park. Many officials of the forest department were present to bid farewell to Riddhi. Riddhi’s roar will no longer be heard in Van Vihar.
Riddhi was a center of attraction for tourists
Tourists visiting Van Vihar National Park love the white tiger Riddhi. People loved his thunderous and adventurous style. Now this white tiger of Van Vihar will not be visible to people. Riddhi was found unconscious at Van Vihar by Van Vihar staff, after which she was taken to Van Vihar doctor Atul Gupta.
Doctor Atul declared him dead. According to the doctor’s preliminary examination, the cause of death of the tiger was failure of its body organs. At present, Riddhi’s postmortem has been done. Post-mortem samples have been sent for forensic examination. The real cause of Riddhi’s death will be known after the forensic report. It has been sent to Wildlife Forensics for investigation.
Van Vihar was brought at the age of 4 years
It was brought to Van Vihar from Indore on 28 December 2013. No one knew when little Riddhi grew up. 15-year-old Riddhi reached old age before her death. The white tiger had been enhancing the beauty of the forest park for many years. His roar will no longer be heard here.
