Inside an orphanage in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, the health of many children suddenly deteriorated. Two children have died in two days. The condition of 12 children is still critical. He has been admitted to MY Hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the children have a blood infection. Due to which both the children died and the rest are still under treatment.

The case belongs to Malhargaj police station area. The police are busy investigating the matter. Police said that two children living in an orphanage here, Karan and Akash, who were around seven years old, died within 2 days due to deteriorating health. Apart from this, the health of 12 other students also deteriorated, due to which they were rushed to MY Hospital.

Doctors said that when the children admitted to the hospital were medically examined, a blood infection was found in them. An investigation is underway into how the children became infected. When Indore DCP Vinod Meena came to know about this, he also reached the hospital to see the children. It was said that two children had already died. These 12 children were later brought to the hospital. The bodies of the two dead children have been sent for post-mortem. The report is awaited.

Possibility of food poisoning

Hospital doctors say that when the children were brought here, they were suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea. There also seems to be a case of food poisoning. But this has not been confirmed yet. Some sick children are also disabled. Police said that among the two children who died, Karan was a resident of Sonkach. Akash was a resident of Narmadapuram. Akash was brought to the ashram only a few months ago. There has been no statement from the orphanage in this matter yet. Investigation is going on in this matter.
