Bollywood horror film ‘Tumbaad’ once again released in theaters on September 13. There is a huge craze about this film among the audience. The film, which first released in 2018, had collected Rs 65 lakh on its first Friday, but on its re-release it broke its six-year-old record.
Talking about the film’s first day collection after its re-release, ‘Tumbaad’ has earned Rs 1.65 crore. The film is getting a lot of love from the audience. In terms of earnings, Soham Shah’s film has surpassed Kareena Kapoor’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ on the first day itself. Kareena’s film is releasing on September 13. On its opening day, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ has collected only Rs 1.15 crore nett in the country.

When ‘Tumbaad’ released six years ago, it collected Rs 65 lakh on the first day, Rs 1.15 crore on the second day and Rs 1.45 crore on the third day. If we talk about his total earnings, he earned 10.14 crore rupees at the box office. Over the past few years ‘Tumbaad’ has received a lot of love from the public in OTT, giving it cult film status. ‘Tumbaad’ is considered to be everyone’s favorite horror thriller. The film was directed by Rahi Anil Barve. Apart from this, the film also stars Soham Shah, Harish Khanna, Jyoti Malshe, Rudra Soni and Madhav Hari Joshi in lead roles. According to a report by Pinkvilla, 21,000 tickets were sold across three national theater chains during the pre-sale of ‘Tumbabad’. PVR Inox sold 15000 tickets, while Cinepolis sold 6000 tickets and Moviemax chain sold 1000 tickets. Along with ‘Tumbaad’ and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’, Shah Rukh’s Veer Zaara also releases on September 13. However, it was released in only 250 screens across the country.
