Tumbad actor and film director Soham Shah has filed a copyright infringement case against the series. Soham Shah has filed a case against the writer of the series and OTT platform Netflix.
TMZ reports that Soham Shah has accused Netflix and the makers of Squid Game of copying his 2009 film Luck. It is being said that the story of Squid Game is very similar to Luck. Now Netflix has responded to Soham Shah’s allegations of copying. A Hindustan Times report said that Netflix has denied all the allegations. A Netflix spokesperson said in a statement, “This claim has no merit. “Squid Game was created and written by Hwang Dong Hyuk and we vigorously defend this case.”
