Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Google CEO Sundar Pichai become fans of PM Modi.
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a tour of the US. During this time, he also held a roundtable with CEOs of US tech companies. Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang also participated in this meeting. Both of them praised their meeting with PM Modi. It was attended by CEOs of 15 leading US companies working on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing and semiconductors.
What did Sundar Pichai say?
Speaking at the meeting with PM Modi, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that PM Modi has inspired us to continue manufacturing and designing in India. The Prime Minister wants to ensure that AI is meant to benefit the people of India and not that Indians are harmed by the advent of AI. Pichai said that PM Modi challenged him to see how current applications can help the education system and healthcare with the help of AI. This needs to be worked on.
Pichai further says that Modi is focusing on the Digital India mission. His vision is on Make in India, Design in India. PM Modi’s focus is also on data centres. He is talking about promoting data centre infrastructure in India. He says that PM Modi always challenges us tech companies to do better for India.
