Bike-riding miscreants shot dead a youth in Danapur area of ​​capital Patna. The incident created a stir in the area. Before the murder, the youth called home and asked to bring eggs and chicken. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased for postmortem. Who did the killing and why? Police have started searching for him.

The family members of the deceased youth say that he had no enmity with anyone, he was a shuttering mechanic. He was killed near Sainik Rest Home in Gora Bazar, Danapur. The miscreants shot three times in the stomach and neck of the youth. The police reached the spot and seized the ammunition from the spot. After the incident, the police took possession of the dead body and sent it to the Sub Divisional Hospital for postmortem.

It was reported that he died after hitting a pole

The deceased has been identified as Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Bhatta Road, Panchvati Nagar. Regarding the incident, Danapur SDPO-1 Diksha said that the police received information that a person had died after colliding with a pole. When the police reached the spot on receiving the information, they found that the youth had been shot. The CCTV footage around the incident site is being scrutinized. Further action will be taken after receiving the complaint of the family of the deceased.

Called to bring chicken and eggs

Kanchan Devi, the wife of the deceased, said that her husband used to leave home at 8 am everyday for work. Around seven o’clock yesterday evening, he told on the phone that he was coming home with chicken and eggs. After some time he got information that his bike had hit a pole. When she reached the hospital, it was found that she had been shot. Kanchan said that her husband has no enmity with anyone.

Vinod Kumar, the brother of the deceased, said that his younger brother had left home for work in the morning like every day. He had gone to Khagaul for work. Meanwhile, there was information that someone had shot him. He doesn’t know who shot him.
