Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a meeting with OBC leaders at Sahyadri Guest House today. Some important decisions were taken in this meeting. This meeting was criticized by Manoj Jarange Patil. “Today’s meeting was a management meeting. The government does not want to give reservation to Marathas. There is no need to give SEZSoyare. This meeting was held to show that Marathas do not want to get anything. We have been asked not to give anything. So what should we do, there is nothing wrong with us, what is your demand, your demand is that you fight with us. The ministers of the government who are leading this movement conducted this meeting. We do not have stomach ache. We have no objection if they get anything. But when we get something, they oppose it”, criticized Manoj Jarange Patil.
“There is no way to know what this ongoing agitation is for. What are your requirements for coming to us? Appeal to Marathas, do not use caste for votes and elections. Our caste certificate is not fake but it is called fake because of the management meeting. Everything is happening under the pressure of OBC leaders”, alleged Manoj Jarange Patil.
‘If even one entry is cancelled, it will cost you dearly’
“No one is with me Rao. You think there is a government and are calling it your own. I work for the public so I am raising the demands of OBC, Dhangar, Lingayat community. Only Maratha community is behind me. Even a single cancellation will cost you dearly. Our records are genuine, and if any of our records is cancelled, action should be taken against the fake reservation given by Mandal Commission”, Manoj Jarange demanded.
He said, “I don’t know what was discussed in the OBC meeting. The government should give us the reservation we deserve. If the committee is for them, then it should be. We have no objection”, said Manoj Jarange Patil at the OBC meeting.
What else did Manoj Jarange say?
“Cancel Sejsoyer means whatever it says. They have pitted all castes against each other.’ Basically this is the demand. These are false demands. Their job since birth is to oppose Marathas. It says that investigate our fake certificates. So do 14 percent reservation. Explain how the above fake 16 percent movement happened. Also explain how the total reservation became 52 percent, take action, investigate, what is the truth. Also tell whether there was a census at that time or the British were taken. Manoj Jarange said, “You are the truth and we are lying.”
“Don’t believe what Bhujbal says. We prove that Maratha Kunbi is one and the same. Otherwise you prove it. We respect everyone. Respect, I have not hurt anyone. The government feels that everyone should sit together, if OBC leaders also feel the same, then we are also ready to sit”, Manoj Jarange Patil said.
