In an order issued by the Gwalior Collector under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Act-2023, making reels and taking selfies in public places and parks including historic buildings, government offices, railway stations, bus stands has been banned. If anyone violates the order, action will be taken against him by registering a case under Section 223 of Indian Judicial Code i.e. BNS-2023 and Cyber ​​Act. However, a press note issued by Public Relations said that the order will not be effective if photographs and videos are properly taken with the family or individually.

Permission has to be taken from the district administration

Earlier these prohibitory orders were enforced under Section 144, but now three new laws have been enforced in the country, including the Indian Civil Defense Code. The order clarifies that if any person, institution or organization wants to do photography, videography or shooting in restricted places then he has to take written permission of the district administration along with its purpose and its content and get the permission once. is provided, it shall be mandatory to give written information to the Superintendent of Police and concerned SDM.
