Terrorist threat in Mumbai

The threat of a terrorist attack in Mumbai is looming. Mumbai Police has expressed apprehension of terrorist threat in the state. The police have announced an alert regarding the terror attack. Because of this, all police station in-charges, ACPs, DCPs, municipal ward offices and tehsil offices have been alerted by the commissioner’s office and orders have been given to be vigilant.

Soon the festival of Navratri will be celebrated all over the country, due to which pandals have been set up in many places and crowds of lakhs have thronged. Meanwhile, the threat of terrorism is looming in Mumbai. There are fears that some anti-social elements or terrorists are hiding among the people and this may pose a threat to life and property.

The police informed

The police have expressed apprehensions that the militants may be living as tenants with the common people and may have many nefarious intentions. Due to this shadow of terror, the Mumbai Police has advised people to be alert, especially landlords and tenants. Landlords have been ordered to report any suspicious activity or anyone suspected of being a terrorist to the police immediately.

Mumbai Police took important steps

Amidst the terror threat, Mumbai Police is constantly trying to ensure the safety of people. Police have issued notices to all hotels, tourist guest houses and landlords. They have been instructed to register complete details about the guest or tenant coming to stay with them on the Mumbai Police’s citizen portal site. Strict action will be taken against those who do not comply. Also, if the owner is renting out his property to a foreigner for business work, it is advisable to thoroughly check the person’s name, country, passport details, visa details and validity date.

Drone cameras were banned

The police have also expressed apprehensions that terrorists may use several devices to disrupt the law and order situation in the city. They can damage public property by targeting VVIP or crowded places. Due to this, the Mumbai Police has also banned the use of certain devices, including drone cameras, remote control, micro light aircraft or para gliders, para motors, hand gliders, hot air balloons and others.
