Free electricity and water

The most notable among these is the electricity bill waiver scheme. In which the Kejriwal government has given a big relief to the consumers in electricity bills. Under this scheme, electricity up to 200 units is made free and after that the government provides subsidy on consumption up to 400 units. Delhi has a major water problem. In such a situation, the Kejriwal government has given a big relief to the people of Delhi by giving free 20 thousand liters of water every month.

Crackdown on private schools

The Kejriwal government also made many major changes in the education sector. The biggest of these was to stop the arbitrariness of private schools. Due to which these schools had to withdraw their increased fees. Under the Right to Education Act, admitting 25 percent of poor children to private schools was also a major decision. The government also implemented it strictly. Apart from this, the Delhi government also increased the honorarium of guest teachers teaching in government schools, Anganwadi and Asha workers.

Student loans

At the same time, CM Kejriwal has increased the loan to Rs 10 lakh and given a huge relief to the students. So that poor students can study with high quality by taking loans. With this scheme, the Kejriwal government also entered the youth.

Mohalla Clinic

The common man’s major complaint is the health system. Acting on this, Kejriwal launched the Mohalla Clinic scheme to provide affordable and accessible health facilities. Due to which people started getting free treatment from him. Apart from this, Kejriwal brought ‘Farishte’ scheme for road accident victims. In this scheme, the government bears the cost of treatment of the victims. People are also rewarded for helping victims.

Free bus travel for women

CM Kejriwal announced free bus travel for women in Delhi during the election. Thousands and millions of women have benefited from this scheme.

Raise the minimum wage

Apart from this, CM Kejriwal has decided to increase the minimum wage from Rs 9,500 to Rs 14,000 per month keeping in mind the interest of the workers. Which made the Kejriwal government popular in every household.
