The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 has started. The function will run from September 27 to September 29. Celebs from South to Bollywood have arrived at this award ceremony organized in Abu Dhabi. The award function was attended by several celebrities including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Mrinal Thakur, Ananya Pandey and Aishwarya Rai. In such a situation, Shahid Kapoor revealed during the function why he doesn’t do South movies?
At the award function, Shahid said that he dreads working in South films. He wants to be a part of it though. Shahid, who started his career with the 2003 romantic comedy film ‘Ishq Vishq’, revealed why he dreads working in South Indian language films. Shahid Kapoor said at the event, “I want to work in all languages, but what if people don’t understand me? This fear is always there.”

At the event, Shahid said, “Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada are all the same for me because I don’t know any of these languages. In such a situation, if a producer can trust me, I want to work in South films. Shahid said that after learning the language of South, he will be more happy to work. Apart from Shahid Kapoor, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi also made many revelations in this program.
In the program, Javed Akhtar said who is today’s ‘angry young man’ of the industry. He said, “There are many great actors. Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Vicky Kaushal, but the biggest star among them is Shah Rukh Khan. Along with this, Shabana Azmi also revealed her favorite star in this program. He said that the star who is currently defining stardom is Alia Bhatt.
