Police issued guidelines for Ganesh festival

On September 7, Ganesha Bappa is going to be seated at the house of the devotees. In such a situation, vigorous preparations are going on everywhere. Especially Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav is famous across the country and the world. People from all over the world come here to witness the Ganesh festival. The date of dissolution has also been fixed by the administration. Everything is going well but in the meantime some important guidelines have also been issued by the administration. These terms and conditions also stipulate that devotees cannot click pictures of Bappa’s idols after his dissolution.

The administration has fixed the dates of September 8, 11, 12, 13 and 17 for the immersion of Ganesh idol in Mumbai. During this time many devotees of Polis Bappa bring home the idol of Polis Bappa as per their devotion and worship it for a day and a half till the 10th day. After the dissolution, Bappa’s idols remain on the banks. Every year people used to click and share their pictures on social media.

This year keeping in mind the faith of the devotees, the police have decided that no one will be able to click photos after the idol of Bappa is dissolved. Police fear that this may hurt the sentiments of devotees. The police have said that strict action will be taken against anyone who does not follow this order and clicks pictures and shares them on social media.

On 7th September, Ganesh Chaturthi Vrat will be celebrated with great pomp across the country. Bappa pandals all over Mumbai are decorated and preparations are made to welcome Bappa with pomp. The police have also been mobilized and all security arrangements have been made. This time the Maharashtra Police is in no mood to spare the atmosphere spoilers. This time, apart from the pandal, the police is also keeping a close eye on the social media.
