As soon as the miscreants entered the colony, they first opened fire and then splattered petrol and set fire to 80 houses. Many families have become homeless after this incident. When the eyewitnesses described their sightings, tears began to flow from their eyes.

Krishna Nagar village in Mufsil Police Station area is also called Manjhi Tola. Because here are the houses of Manjhi families. He says he has lived here for more than 50 years. They farm here. They work as laborers to support their families. But this land was eyed by a land mafia named Nandu Paswan. He has been claiming this land for a long time.

However, according to the police, he neither belongs to the Manjhi nor to the Paswan people. This land belongs to Bihar Government. According to a villager from Manjhi Tola, around 6.30 pm on Wednesday we were cooking dinner when we heard a scream and came out to see more than 100 people including Nandu Paswan, Panu, Puni. Naga, Nageshi, Rajo, Mithun, Dharmendra, Goli, Saravan and Suneshwar Paswan, they have entered our colony.

Now there is neither a house nor any belongings. I do not understand where we will go and where we will stay. We want the government to take action against the accused. Help us. Firing took place here in November 2023 as well. Even then we registered an FIR. But the police did not take any action.

10 people have been arrested in this case

Police have arrested 10 people including the main accused Nandu Paswan in this case. Police teams are busy searching for the rest. Gorelal, Japsi Manjhi, Sanjay Manjhi, Nitya Manjhi, Ramchandra Manjhi, Bhola Manjhi, Tara Manjhi, Lalita Devi, Awadhesh Manjhi, Manoj Manjhi, Doma Manjhi, Doma Ravidas, Gendo Manjhi, Suresh Manjhi, Vija Manjhi, Vija Manjhi, Suresh Manjhi, Vija Manjhi, Virsingh Rathwa, Suresh Manjhi. , Sarita Devi, Surup Manjhi, Naval Manjhi and Nilesh Manjhi and many others houses were burnt to ashes. An investigation is currently going on in this matter. The police say that the rest of the accused will also be arrested soon.
