Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi took oath as the new Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday. Along with Atishi, his cabinet has also taken oath. Earlier, BJP leader and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra attacked Atishi. The BJP MP from East Delhi said that nothing is going to change in Delhi after Atishi becomes the CM.
Union Minister of State for Road Transport Harsh Malhotra targeted new Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and said that all these people are puppets of Arvind Kejriwal. Malhotra said he did not think there would be any change in the five-month-old Atishi government. According to him, the people of Delhi have made up their minds for change. After the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi has taken oath as Chief Minister.
Harsh Malhotra advised CM Atishi
Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra has called the new Delhi Chief Minister Atishi a puppet of Aam Aadmi Party coordinator Arvind Kejriwal. He said, ‘All these people are puppets of Arvind Kejriwal sir. All these people are immersed in corruption, the public of Delhi has now understood everything. The BJP leader says that the people of Delhi have made up their minds for change.
Along with this, he also advised Atishi to give priority to the people deprived of basic facilities in Delhi. The Union Minister of State said that the people of Delhi have been deprived of basic amenities for the last 10 years. Atishi should provide facilities to those people on priority basis. However, he continued, ‘Aatish ji has a few months left but I don’t think that will change anything.’
‘People of Delhi have given a glimpse of change’
Harsh Malhotra said this is because the people of Delhi have made up their minds for change. The people of Delhi have given a glimpse of it in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won all the seven seats in Delhi. Despite the alliance between Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP and the Congress, the Bharat Gatbandhan account could not be opened.

Atishi took oath as the new Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday. This situation arose after Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of CM. Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of CM two days after being granted bail by the Supreme Court in the Delhi liquor scam case. Atishi will now be the Chief Minister of Delhi for the remainder of the tenure of the AAP government. The current term of Delhi Assembly is till February 2025.
