South Sudan –

Sudan ranks first among the poorest countries in the world. The annual per capita income of this country, which is facing many economic problems, is only 492 dollars i.e. only 41,173 rupees.

Burundi –

In terms of poverty, this East African country named Burundi is an agricultural country. It has not been able to develop due to political instability and ethnic conflicts. The per capita annual income here is 936 dollars i.e. Rs 78,250.

Central African Republic –

The Central African Republic ranks third in the list of poor countries. Despite having many natural resources like diamonds and wood, the country is still struggling with instability, poverty and underdevelopment. Its per capita annual income is $1,140 i.e. Rs 95,261.

Republic of the Congo –

Despite being rich in natural resources, this country is ranked fourth in the list of poor countries. This country is in economic crisis. Political instability, corruption and bad governance have made the country a poor country. The per capita annual income of this country is $1,570 i.e. Rs 1,31,193.

Mozambique –

The country is facing economic challenges due to low literacy, declining infrastructure, frequent natural disasters. This country is the fifth poorest country in the world. The per capita annual income here is $ 1,650. That is, Rs 1,37,878. Malawi- Dependent on agricultural income, Malawi is the sixth poorest country in the world. The country is plagued by poverty, has limited access to education, medical care and infrastructure. The per capita annual income here is $ 1,710 i.e. Rs 1,42,892.

Niger –

Niger is ranked seventh in the list of poor countries. This country has fallen into poverty due to low level of education, inadequate medical care. The per capita annual income here is $1,730 i.e. Rs 1,44,563.

Chad –

Economy of Chad on oil exports Despite this, this country is struggling with poverty. Therefore, this country is at the eighth position in the list of poor people. The per capita annual income of the people here is $1,860 i.e. Rs 1,55,427.

Liberia –

Liberia, a natural producer of iron and rubber, is ranked 9th in the list of the poorest countries. It is facing economic problems due to civil war, corruption and weak institutions. The annual per capita income of its citizens is $1,880 i.e. Rs 1,57,098.

Madagascar –

Madagascar has been ranked tenth in the list of poor countries. Its economy is agriculture based. The population here is engaged in agriculture work. The annual production per person here is $1,990 which is less than Rs. 1,66,290.
