SO Ratneshkumar Dubey holding a meeting at Ram Janaki Temple.
The Uttar Pradesh Police is often in the limelight for its exploits. Especially the matter of the police of Ballia district is somewhat different. Here, instead of catching the thieves, people have to raid their own police station and the police station officer also has to jump over the wall and escape. Now one more police station officer is in news. He is in the news not for fundraising but for taking a special kind of oath and his video is also going viral.
A meeting was organized by the police station on Monday at the Ram Janki temple in Kakarhatta in the Maniyar police station area adjacent to the UP-Bihar border. In this meeting, Maniyar Police Station SO Ratnesh Kumar Dubey administered an oath to hundreds of villagers to stop smuggling of liquor and cows. He asked the villagers to raise both their hands and take an oath that no liquor would be allowed to be produced in the area.
Not only this, SO Ratnesh Kumar Dubey also received applause from the villagers after taking the oath and said that whoever wants money should surrender the criminals at the police station or bring them to the police station and give them the reward. 25 thousand Rs. Currently, this new method of SO Ratneshkumar Dubey to catch criminals is also being discussed in the area. It is possible that now the liquor traffickers will also become alert. Who knows who will take them to Sahib and hand them over.
Local people said – this is UP Police’s marketing plan
Locals said that this seems to be a marketing plan of the UP Police. Whoever asks for money should arrest the criminal. If a criminal is caught, he will get a reward of 25 thousand rupees. If someone catches three, he will get a prize of 75 thousand rupees. SO Ratnesh Kumar Dubey has also asked that anyone who wants money should surrender the criminals to the police station or bring them to the police station and collect a reward of 25 thousand rupees.
What did SP Ballia say about the campaign?
In this regard, SP Ballia Vikrant Veer said that we are motivating the public that if anyone gives true information to stop liquor and cow trafficking, his identity will be concealed and he will also be rewarded. Devendra Yadav, chief representative of the village present in the police meeting, said that SO Saheb Ram Janaki came to the temple and called the entire village by playing the bell. Talking about alcohol, everyone took an oath that we will stop alcohol.
Devendra Yadav said that this area is the UP-Bihar border. Here people make liquor and smuggle it. Devendra Yadav said that if the police want, they will ban liquor. Meanwhile, SO Ratnesh Kumar Dubey said that if a brewery is built in the farm and it is caught, a case will be registered against the owner of the farm.
