Actor Karthik Aryan will soon be seen in the film Chandu Champion. Karthik is promoting his film a lot before the release. The film is a biopic of Muralikant Petkar. Muralikant Petkar gave the country its first gold medal in the Paralympics. During the 1965 war, Muralikant was shot 9 times, after which he lost one of his arms.

But his courage remained intact and he made the country proud. He won this gold in 50m freestyle swimming. Muralikant created history by completing this feat in just 37.33 seconds.

Now the story of Muralikant Petkar will be seen on the big screen. Director Kabir Khan shot the film in Wai, Pune and Mumbai in Maharashtra. Apart from this, the film has also been shot in London and Kashmir. Karthik said that the war portion of the film has been shot in Kashmir.

He used to go to the mountain every day

Karthik Aryan said that Kabir Khan looks for locations for shooting, where shooting has never been done before. He said, “The place where we were shooting was a mountain. It took 20-25 minutes of trekking time to reach the location. According to Karthik, that hill was not in the city, but far outside. The film has a single shot war scene of eight minutes. This scene was shot on the same hill.

Kartik Aryan said that the scene was to be done in one shot so it was rehearsed for seven days. He said, “With 300 soldiers, we would go there every morning and rehearse because we all had to take one take. We were supposed to shoot on the eighth day. “Finally we got that shot, we had no other choice.”
