Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has attacked Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. He said that Fadnavis is not capable of handling the home department of Maharashtra. He said that as long as Fadnavis remains the minister, there can be no impartial inquiry under any circumstances.
However, Chandrasekhar Bawankule has also said in this whole matter that an impartial investigation of the accident should be done. Whoever is guilty should be prosecuted. But Sanjay Raut has targeted Devendra Fadnavis. He claimed that according to his information, Chandrasekhar Bawankule’s son was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and had beaten up and seriously injured two people in Nagpur. He expressed surprise that his name was not in the FIR and the number plate of the car was also removed.

Sanjay Raut said that if Devendra Fadnavis is not able to lead the Home Department effectively, then he is not fit to continue in the post. Sanjay Raut said that the car is registered only in the name of Bawankule. He said that as long as Fadnavis is the Home Minister and Rashmi Shukla is with him as Director General of Police, no case can be investigated impartially in the state.

He said that the Audi car also hit some other vehicles heading towards Mankapur area. The car also hit a Polo car at the T-point. People chased Audi. The two occupants of the car have been identified as Arjun Howre and Ronit Chittamwar.
