Jabalpur District Hospital
District Hospital Victoria is in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Every day thousands of patients come here for treatment. But this hospital is suffering from lack of equipment. The condition of the ICU ward here is also bad. There is no cooler or fan in the ICU, due to which the patients have to suffer every day. In such a situation, patients and their families come to the hospital with fans from their homes.
The centralized AC system in the hospital has been down for several months, the complaints of which are continuously being made by the patients, but no one has paid heed till date. There is increasing public resentment due to negligence of hospital administration and poor health facilities. In this regard, the Congress delegation reached the hospital late at night and took stock of the situation there. Everyone was shocked to see the condition of the ICU.
There is not even a single fan in the ICU
Aarti, a family member of the patient, said that there was not even a single fan in the ICU ward. Troubled by heat and humidity. He has bought a table fan from the market, which is placed in front of the patient. About 15 to 20 patients are admitted in ICU. Relatives of all patients have brought fans. The health department does not pay any attention to this matter. There are piles of dirt around the hospital, which no official is paying attention to.
The Chief Medical Officer inspected the hospital
The families of the troubled patients raised an uproar on Sunday night. Around 12 midnight Chief Medical Officer (CMHO) and RMO also reached the hospital and took stock. The Congress workers requested the Chief Medical Officer to solve the problem at the earliest. CMHO has also assured to solve the problem soon.
