The woman reached the Kotwar Collector’s office
A shocking news has come from Balod district of Chhattisgarh where women kotwars have reached the collector office and complained. Women kotwaras say that their duty is assigned to the tehsil office and they are asked to sweep there. They have to do it by force. Not only this, they are also asked to clean the toilets present in the premises. At present Kotwars have been assured to take appropriate action.
According to the information, this whole matter is from Daundilohra block of Balod district, where all the Kotwars of the Kotwar Sangh had reached the Balod Collectorate with their problems. The Kotwaros first complained that they were not getting their remuneration for the last two months due to which they were facing financial problems. But an even bigger problem is that of women Kotwaros.
A toilet cleaning job
Women kotwaros complained to the collector office that the situation with them is worse now. His duty is stationed in Tehsil Office. There, female police officers are asked to sweep and mop. Not only this, they also clean the toilets of the tehsil complex. There is a lot of anger among the women Kotwars regarding this matter. When an attempt was made to speak to Daundilohara Tehsildar Govind Sinha in this matter, he left without giving any reply.
