According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be hot for the next four to five days. The maximum temperature will be 44 to 46 degrees with gusty winds.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding the heat wave. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heat wave will prevail in many states including national capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. Temperatures will continue to rise in these states due to westerly winds. Severe heat wave and extreme heat will prevail over the entire Uttar Pradesh till Monday i.e. 17th June. Heat wave will continue in Western Uttar Pradesh on June 18. At the same time, relief is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Monsoon is coming in UP

According to the Meteorological Department, Uttar Pradesh will face intense heat during the next four to five days, with the advance of Southwest Monsoon. Monsoon will move towards Uttar Pradesh after moving over Bihar during these days. The Meteorological Department says that favorable conditions for monsoon have started to develop. On June 19, East Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience rain with strong winds. Along with this, rains are likely across the state on June 20 and 21, due to which the weather will become pleasant. Many districts of Uttar Pradesh are expected to get relief from extreme heat soon.

Entry of Monsoon

Monsoon made a strong entry in Maharashtra after knocking in Kerala. Badra is receiving heavy rain in many districts of the state including Mumbai. Monsoon rains are continuing in many states including West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat. Apart from this, many plains states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar are still in the grip of extreme heat. The Meteorological Department has expressed hope for relief rains with the arrival of monsoon here soon.
