CM Yogi Adityanath.
UP Backward Classes Commission has been formed. This commission was not constituted for the last two years. After BJP’s poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the decision to form the commission was taken without any delay. After a meeting of the Sangh, the government and the organization, a Backward Classes Commission has been formed under the chairmanship of former MP Rajesh Verma. Sohan Lal and Surya Prakash have been made vice presidents.
BJP-affiliated people have now been appointed to commissions and corporations that have long been vacant in Uttar Pradesh. On the recommendation of the Governor, one Chairperson, two Vice-Chairpersons and 23 members have been nominated to the Backward Classes Commission for a term of one year.
