Bollywood actor John Abraham is in discussion these days about his upcoming film ‘Ved’. This is an action thriller film directed by Nikhil Advani. These days John is busy promoting his film and is doing all possible to make his film a hit. The release date of the film is 15th August. Along with this, the trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s film will be shown in theatres.
Kangana’s film that is being talked about is ‘Emergency’, in which she will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi. The story of the film is based on the Emergency imposed in the country in the year 1975. The film also stars Anupam Kher with Kangana. He will be seen in the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. Mahima Chaudhary and Milind Soman are also a part of this film.
Why is the trailer being shown with ‘Veda’?
A report in Bollywood Hungama has quoted a source as saying that Emergency is produced by Zee Studios and Zee Studios is also associated with ‘Ved’. A large audience will watch the Vedas. So, the team of the production house feels that this is the right time to show the trailer of Emergency.

The report also says that the trailer of ‘Emergency’ has received the green signal from the censor board. The film was cleared by CBFC on 7th August itself. The film has been given a U/A certificate. This trailer is 2 minutes 57 seconds long. Along with being in the lead role, Kangana also directed the film. He has also produced it with Renu Pitti.
Emergency was scheduled to release in the year 2023
‘Emergency’ was earlier scheduled to release on November 24, 2023, nine months ago. But the film could not release on that date and its new release date is said to be 14 June 2024. However, the film was postponed again. Now this film is releasing on 6 September.
However, Sharvari Vagh will be seen alongside John in ‘Veda’. This film has also been postponed once. Earlier its release date was 12th July. But, the makers later scheduled the film for August 15. Now it remains to be seen how amazing John performs through this film. However, he is not entering the field alone on this date. In fact two more films are releasing on this day.
Clash with these movies
The first film is ‘Stree 2’, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. Pankaj Tripathi is also a part of this film. This franchise has a strong fan base among people. Its first part, which came out in the year 2018, was a blockbuster. In such a situation, this film may create trouble for ‘Ved’. Akshay Kumar also has a film ‘Khel Khel Main’, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Amy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan. That means there is going to be a clash between three Bollywood films.
