Vande Bharat Metro was renamed before its inauguration
The name of the country’s first Vande Metro train has been changed even before its inauguration. Now the new name of this train will be Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. For the first time in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this train running between Bhuj and Ahmedabad in Gujarat on 17th September. Earlier, similarly the name of RRTS train was changed from RapidX to Bharat Rapid Rail. This train will run between Meerut and Delhi. Recently Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated it in Ghaziabad.
Central Government and Ministry of Railways have given permission to change the name of Vande Bharat Metro Train. The train will be known as Namo Bharat Rapid Rail when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives today to flag off the country’s first Vande Bharat Metro train running between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. PM Modi will flag off this train on the occasion of his birthday. He will also flag off many Vande Bharat trains on this occasion. Especially the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail train is being considered as a great gift for the people of Gujarat.
This train is built on the lines of Vande Bharat train
According to railway officials, the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is built on the lines of the Vande Bharat Express trains. However, these trains will run for shorter distances in many parts of the country. Currently, the first of such proposed trains is being launched between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat. According to officials, these short-distance trains will be operated like EMUs. The difference between these two types of trains will be that Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will have state-of-the-art facilities and its speed will also be much higher.
