However, Subhash Ghai later agreed to NN Sippy, but when he approached producer Rajesh Khanna with the film’s script, he received a rejection from Rajesh Khanna. When that didn’t work, NN Sippy went to Sunil Dutt and Feroze Khan too and didn’t get them there either.
