In Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur, a 65-year-old man set himself on fire by sprinkling flammable material inside his house. In this incident, he was burnt to such an extent that he died on the spot. The police arrived on the information of the neighbors and took possession of the dead body and started investigating the case.

The incident took place in Sivapuram Colony of Kotwali Dehat area of ​​Saharanpur. An old man was burnt in a late night fire. Police are interrogating people. Police are busy trying to find the reason behind the youth’s suicide. The police have taken the dead body into their possession and sent it for postmortem. After the incident, the old man’s wife is in a bad condition and is crying.

Smoke started coming from the roof, then the neighbors noticed

On Saturday late evening, people around saw heavy smoke coming from the store built on the roof of Dharamveer Tomar’s house. Dharamveer’s wife who was present outside the house also shouted after seeing the smoke coming out of the house. Then when we reached the terrace we found the door of the store room closed.

When the people around broke the door after a lot of hard work, everyone was amazed to see the sight inside. Dharamveer Tomar had set himself on fire with a flammable substance, due to which he was completely burnt. He died on the spot. The people in the vicinity immediately informed the police, after which the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Along with this, the forensic team was also called to the spot. Dharamveer Tomar was in depression for a long time. He has two sons, one son works as a transporter in Saharanpur, apart from this his other son works in a sugar mill in Meerut district. On Saturday evening, Dharamveer Tomar asked his wife Pushpa to cut the vegetables growing near the house, after which Dharamveer Tomar also picked up beedi and matchsticks for himself and after closing the main door of the house went to the store room on the roof and from there he took beedi and matchsticks for himself. But he set himself on fire. During police interrogation it is revealed to be a case of depression.
