There should be an NIA probe into the blast, BJP has demanded

Meanwhile, Union Minister Sukanth Majmudar has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and demanded that the blast case be investigated by NIA. He said that I think there is a need for an investigation by the NIA. I don’t think the police have that kind of professionalism to investigate this incident and not only that it shows the failure of Mamata Banerjee as Home Minister.

He said that if this is the law and order situation in the state then the home minister should resign, hence the BJP is demanding his resignation which has completely failed to handle law and order.

“I request you to consider a detailed inquiry by NIA or any other central agency to ensure thorough investigation of all possible angles related to this incident,” the letter read.
