A tragic accident took place in Konch Kotwali area of ​​Uttar Pradesh’s Jalaun on Sunday morning, where a lintel of a house collapsed amid rain, burying a husband and wife and their two children under the debris. Meanwhile, the compressor of the refrigerator broke. Mother and son died in this accident while the condition of father and daughter is critical, both of them have been referred to Higher Center Jhansi after first aid.
It is being told that his family members living in the neighborhood woke up after hearing the sound of lantern falling and reached the spot. where he found a husband, wife and two children buried under the rubble. Then with the help of the villagers somehow all the people were taken out and taken to the Community Health Centre. While the doctors declared the mother and son dead, the father and daughter were referred to a higher center in critical condition. Jalaun DM, Additional Superintendent of Police and administrative officers reached the spot and started investigation into the matter on receiving information about the accident.
The whole family was buried under the rubble
The incident took place in Mehua village of Konch Kotwali area. According to information, the letter from the house of 32-year-old Akhilesh, who lives in the village, fell with a loud bang on Sunday morning. In this accident, his 30-year-old wife Mohini, 12-year-old daughter Aditi and 6-year-old son Dev were buried under the debris. The accident happened when everyone was sleeping. Meanwhile, along with the lantern, the compressor of the refrigerator also burst, causing a huge explosion. Hearing the explosion, his cousin Mukesh, who lives in the neighborhood, and people around reached the spot.

The police are investigating the case
On getting information about the incident, Conch area officer Archana Singh reached the spot with a police team. Jalaun Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar Verma said Akhilesh and his entire family were buried under the debris due to the collapse of the house lantern, which killed Akhilesh’s wife and son, while Akhilesh and his daughter are injured and undergoing treatment at the spot. and is engaged in investigation.
Announcement of financial assistance to the relatives of the deceased
Jalaun District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey and SP Doctor Durgesh Kumar also reached the spot. All inspected the spot and also met the family members of the deceased and assured all possible help. The District Magistrate said that the accident occurred due to the collapse of the concrete roof liner. Concrete building will also be provided in case of collapse.
