Drinking tap water is not allowed

Shameful news has come to light from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that the goons did not allow the Scheduled Caste youths to drink tap water. When the youth’s mother objected to this, she was severely beaten. Not only this, his clothes were also torn. It is alleged that the miscreants even threatened to drop the woman and walk in the village.

The victim woman complained about the entire matter to the SSP, after which the SSP registered a case against the accused under serious sections and sent the woman for medical examination. The police have started an investigation into the whole matter. Now the accused have fled from the house.

The victim’s mother was threatened

In fact, the entire case is from Choubari, a village in Bareilly Police Station Cantt area. There are allegations that the goons prevented the Scheduled Caste youth of the village from drinking water from their taps. When the mother came to her son’s rescue, the duo allegedly hurled caste-related slurs and tore the woman’s clothes and beat her. The miscreants threatened the woman to take her off and walk around the village. The frightened woman gathered courage and complained about the whole matter to the Bareilly SSP. On receiving information about the incident, the SSP has ordered to register a case in the entire matter.

Water is not allowed to drink because of caste

The woman alleged that her son had gone to drink water in the farm of Thakur Rajesh of the village. While he was drinking water from the tap there, Shishupal came and stopped him from drinking water. Shishupal makes a caste related remark and says you have made water untouchable. The son went home and told his mother about this. CO First Pankaj Srivastav said that a report has been registered based on the allegations. Further action will be taken based on the evidence.
