Hrithik Roshan has given many superhit films in his career. Along with her attractive looks, she also rules the hearts of people with her excellent acting. Agneepath was an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1990 film of the same name. Hrithik played the lead role in this film. The film was directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar and his mother Hiru Yash Johar. When Karan Johar offered the film to Hrithik, initially Hrithik refused to act in the film. Hrithik himself once told about this.

Why did Hrithik refuse to do Agneepath?

Even after Hrithik refused, Karan Johar did not agree and insisted that he was sending Karan Malhotra for a script reading. Hrithik said on Preity Zinta’s talk show, “I was feeling bad before the meeting. I felt like I was wasting his time, because in the end I was going to say no.” Hrithik did not want to do the film as he believed that Amitabh Bachchan’s aura was too amazing to be ignored. He also said that Karan changed his mind during the script reading and then agreed to the film.

Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt were also seen in ‘Agnipath’. According to Box Office India, the film grossed Rs. Made on a budget of 71 crores and the film made Rs. 119 crore net collection was done. Worldwide gross of Rs. 194 crores.
