Janmashtami festival will be celebrated on next Monday i.e. 26th August. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has issued guidelines regarding the celebration of the festival in the state. He has announced that Janmashtami festival will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in the state on 26th August. General Administration Department has issued necessary guidelines for this.
Madhya Pradesh government directives have said that attractive cultural programs will be organized on the occasion of Janmashtami at the temples of Lord Krishna and places connected with them.
Cultural programs will be grandly organized
Dr. Mohan Yadav’s government has announced that on the occasion of Janmashtami, the cleaning work of Lord Shri Krishna temples and cultural programs will be organized grandly in every district. Along with references to Lord Krishna’s teachings and friendship, scholars will deliver lectures on many topics based on his philosophy of life, Indian cultural traditions, yoga, etc.
Cultural programs will be organized in schools and colleges
As per government guidelines, apart from lectures, cultural programs will be organized in all government/non-government schools/colleges. Cultural programs will be organized on the occasion of Janmashtami at places in the state where special events related to the life of Lord Shri Krishna will be held at places like Janpav, Amzera, Narayan and Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that in view of the Janmashtami festival, as many people as possible will be made aware of the architectural features of the temple construction and its features according to the Shastras. Along with this, appropriate programs will also be organized to make all sections of the society aware of the events, stories and legends of our proud history.
