Tejashwi Yadav on gratitude tour

Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s visit is aimed at establishing his hold in Mithilanchal and Tirhut districts except Samastipur, where RJD’s hold has weakened slightly. The special thing is that during this visit, Tejashwi will meet ordinary people and activists. However, the Leader of Opposition will neither hold any meeting nor attend the forum during his visit. He would make chowpal and then talk to people. There will be no army of leaders with him during the journey.

Pappu Yadav Wakf will take out Constitutional Rights Yatra

Along with this, independent MP from Purna, Pappu Yadav has also announced his visit. During a press conference last Friday, he said that he would go on a Waqf Constitutional Rights Yatra across Bihar. The Yatra will start from Araria on September 29, while it will conclude at Gandhi Maidan in the capital, Patna. The Yatra will reach Kishanganj on 30th September and Katihar on 31st.

Pappu Yadav said that he is against the Wakf Bill. He said that the journey is to get the seat of power in Bihar. There is no leader who can say that he faced a lathi charge, fought a struggle or helped a poor person. He said that the journey of those people is not for the poor and farmers but for power.

Mukesh Sawhney also made preparations

Former minister and Vikashil Insan Party chief Mukesh Sahni is also preparing to take him on a tour across Bihar. According to party sources, Sahni may go on tour in the next month. A plan is currently being prepared for the trip, which will be finalized soon. In this trip, Mukesh Sahni can convey his thoughts to the people regarding the development of Bihar, Nishad reservation and solving the problem of Nishad.

‘Other leaders are looking at Tejaswi’

Meanwhile, RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan says that Tejashwi Yadav is going among the people and understanding their sentiments and raising their issues in the House. The spokesperson said that a lot of work has been done during Tejashwi’s 17-month tenure, be it giving jobs, giving contract workers status as state employees or caste census.

Chittaranjan Gagan also said that it is good to see Tejashwi’s work and people are also going on tour. However, he said only he would say what the purpose of those leaders’ visit was. The spokesperson said that it is clear that today Tejashwi Yadav is at the center of Bihar politics and the politics of the state revolves around Tejashwi. For those outside the India alliance, their one-point program is to talk about Tejashwi Yadav.

‘Travel is not a means of pleasure’

While BJP spokesperson Kuntal Krishna says that now-a-days political trips have become a fashion. He said what matters is whose yatra is seen by the public as a political dialogue and whose yatra is seen as a means of travel and enjoyment. He said that political travel has always been a means of political dialogue. In such a situation, when we start talking about politics for fun and entertainment, our own seriousness goes down.

‘Traveling in Progress’

Apart from this, senior journalist Dhruv Kumar says that in a way the yatras are like political events. Leaders of various parties are also conducting padyatras from time to time. Now the currency of travel has increased. One reason for this is that leaders rarely meet face-to-face. He said that CM Nitish Kumar is also doing tours. Now it will be difficult to say how successful any leader will be in his agenda.
